Barista

The heart of the guest experience

Baristas at Seven Sundays Coffee set the tone for every guest who walks through our doors. This role is all about connection, craft, and consistency. You will prepare espresso, matcha, teas, and our house made signature drinks with focus and care while creating a calm warm experience for each customer.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy cafe while keeping a steady positive energy. You should care about details, keep your space clean and organized, and enjoy talking to people. Experience is helpful but we are happy to train the right person with the right attitude.

What you will do
• Prepare espresso and specialty drinks with accuracy and consistency

Shift Lead Barista

Lead the team. Elevate the standard.

Shift Leads play a key role in the flow and energy of the cafe. You will support baristas, keep service moving smoothly, and ensure that our standards for quality and hospitality never slip. You will lead by example both on the bar and on the floor, stepping in wherever the team needs you.

This role is ideal for someone who already has barista experience and is ready to take the next step into leadership. You should feel comfortable guiding others, giving feedback, and maintaining a calm and confident presence even during the busiest moments.

What you will do
• Open or close the cafe following all daily procedures
• Assign team positions and support baristas throughout the shift
• Monitor drink quality and fix issues immediately
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care
• Help train new hires and reinforce brand standards
• Complete basic paperwork and end of day responsibilities

Head Barista

The leader of quality and craft

The Head Barista is responsible for the consistency and excellence of the entire beverage program. You will be the go to person for all things coffee, from dialing in espresso to training the team to developing new seasonal beverages. This role requires a strong understanding of specialty coffee, precise technique, and a passion for teaching others.

You will work closely with ownership to refine recipes, maintain equipment, and ensure that every single drink that leaves the bar reflects the Seven Sundays standard.

What you will do
• Dial in espresso daily and maintain consistency across all shifts
• Train baristas and shift leads on technique, recipes, and quality standards
• Develop and refine seasonal drink ideas and house made syrups
• Monitor espresso equipment, coordinate repairs, and maintain cleanliness
• Observe the team during shifts and provide coaching and support
• Document recipes, update manuals, and elevate the overall coffee program
